THUNDER AV

THUNDER AV, part of the THUNDER floodlight family, is a professional industrial modular floodlight featuring specially designed anti-vibration mounting brackets. It is adapted for extreme operating conditions, with a housing made of extruded aluminum and an integrated heat sink that ensures proper operating temperature regulation, thereby preserving long service life.

The light source consists of high-efficiency Samsung LED diodes with a luminous efficacy of 160 lm/W, mounted on PCB boards.

Light distribution is achieved through high-quality PMMA optical lenses with various beam angles. At high mounting heights, the use of narrow-beam optics ensures the required illumination levels.

For high-power floodlights, a system consisting of three or more modules (M2, M3, M4, …) is applied, where each module has an independent power supply, ensuring safe and continuous operation. Additionally, the luminaire is equipped with an integrated NTC system for automatic current reduction in the event of overheating at temperatures above 95°C. The application of NTC as an Intelligent Temperature Management System ensures a long operating lifetime by reducing the luminaire’s power in order to maintain optimal housing temperature.

The luminaire is designed for operation in extreme temperatures ranging from -25°C to +60°C.

The design allows for replacement of the LED light source and power supply without disassembly of the luminaire.

The luminaire operates within a supply voltage range of 150–250 V. In the event of voltage exceeding 250 V, it is equipped with overvoltage protection that automatically disconnects the luminaire without damaging electronic components.

The luminaire features special anti-vibration mounting brackets with a 360° action force along the X, Y, and Z axes, and a rotation angle exceeding 190°. Its application is ideal for harsh environments such as road construction sites and industrial worksites, as it offers a high level of protection against atmospheric influences with IP65 or IP66 protection ratings. Due to its compact design and mechanical structure with an IK10 impact resistance rating, it is suitable for both outdoor and indoor lighting applications.
